Getting Started:

1.      Lighting is a key element to remember in redesigning spaces^__large or small.  Consider ambient light sources from wall scones, standing torchiers and table lamps to augment standard ceiling lights.  Increase natural light through windows and skylights.

2.      Establish a focal point.  On entering a room, your eye scans the space and searches for a center of interest.  Create a focal point to keep the eye from flitting about and build furniture groupings around it.

3.      Consult with design professionals to avoid costly mistakes and quickly access quality design solutions.
